There is not much to settle

We use two cookies, both first-party and both strictly necessary. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics that profile you — which is why this site does not interrupt you with a consent banner.

The two cookies

cc_session — keeps you signed in. HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax, expires after 30 days. Deleted when you sign out.
cc_ref — remembers a referral code if you arrived through someone’s link, so their referral is attributed if you buy. Contains an opaque code and nothing about you. Expires after 30 days.

Turning them off

You can clear or block both in your browser settings. Blocking cc_session means you cannot stay signed in, so the member area will not work. Blocking cc_ref has no effect on you at all.

If you sign out, both are removed and your session is revoked on our side too — not merely forgotten by your browser.

If analytics are added later

Any measurement we add will be cookieless and aggregate — no cross-site identifiers, no personal data, and nothing about member pages or anything you write. If that ever changes, this page changes first and we will ask before setting anything.
