For single and partnered readers • Designed with African young adults and the diaspora in mind. An educational workbook — not therapy, diagnosis or emergency support.

Who it helps

If Any of This Sounds Like Your Week

Written for people carrying something ordinary and heavy at the same time, who want a practical next step rather than a diagnosis.

  • The Same Argument, on Repeat

You can see the pattern arriving and still cannot stop it. You want a different move, not a different personality.

  • Saying Yes While Feeling Dread

Agreeing out of fear, obligation or exhaustion — and only noticing what it cost you afterwards.

  • Family, Faith and Distance

Respect for the people who raised you, alongside expectations that quietly cost you your wellbeing.

  • Wanting Help You Cannot Reach Yet

Counselling may be unaffordable, unavailable, or simply not this month. Somewhere to start, privately, in the meantime.

For single and partnered readers • Designed with African young adults and the diaspora in mind — though nothing in it is closed to anyone else.

How the thirty days work

From Noticing, to Connecting

Self-awareness first, because the relationship pages ask more of you. A review at the end of each week, and a midpoint check against where you started.

  1. Week 1 · Days 1–7

    Coming Back to Yourself

Naming feelings, mapping stress, the pause, needs, support and a fairer inner voice.

  2. Week 2 · Days 8–14

    Saying What You Mean

Boundaries, a respectful no, conflict patterns, listening, clear requests and repair.

  3. Week 3 · Days 15–21

    The Wider Circle

Trust, digital limits, family and culture, money, friendship, loneliness and grief.

  4. Week 4 · Days 22–30

    Safety, Rest and After

Warning signs, safety planning, professional support, rest, decisions, values and what comes next.

Missing a day is not failure. The workbook says so in as many words, and the digital companion is built the same way — your page simply waits.

Who made this, and how

Written to Be Honest About Its Limits

The author’s public profile is still being prepared. We would rather leave it blank than publish a biography that hasn’t been checked — in a mental-health context, an unverified credential is not a small thing.

  • Safety comes before insight

The workbook screens for safety before any exercise involving another person, and it repeats that screen on the days that need it. No page asks a reader to confront someone in order to complete it.

  • Accuracy, not positivity

“Naming an experience can create a little distance from it. The aim is accuracy, not forcing the feeling away.” Nothing here asks you to feel better than you do.

  • A boundary is about you

A boundary describes what you will do to protect your wellbeing. It is not a tool for controlling another person, and the workbook is careful about the difference.
