Day 08 · Boundaries

Protect your energy

What to know

A boundary describes what you will do to protect wellbeing. It is different from trying to control another person.

Example — “If shouting begins, I will end the call and speak later” is a boundary. “You are not allowed to be angry” is control.

Today’s practice — Identify one limit and one action you can safely take if it is crossed.

Today’s reflection

In the workbook these are ruled lines to write on. With a copy, you can also write them privately in your account and keep the whole month together.

Where am I saying yes while feeling fear, resentment or exhaustion?

My boundary and action are…

One compassionate sentence to myself:

☐ Done ☐ Partly done ☐ Skipped for safety or capacity ☐ Not applicable
